الْقَارِعَةُ القارعة [1]
The Striking Calamity - Al-Qari'ah ( The Striking Hour ) [1]
مَا الْقَارِعَةُ القارعة [2]
What is the Striking Calamity? Al-Qari'ah ( The Striking Hour ) [2]
وَمَا أَدْرَاكَ مَا الْقَارِعَةُ القارعة [3]
And what can make you know what is the Striking Calamity? Al-Qari'ah ( The Striking Hour ) [3]
يَوْمَ يَكُونُ النَّاسُ كَالْفَرَاشِ الْمَبْثُوثِ القارعة [4]
It is the Day when people will be like moths, dispersed, Al-Qari'ah ( The Striking Hour ) [4]
وَتَكُونُ الْجِبَالُ كَالْعِهْنِ الْمَنفُوشِ القارعة [5]
And the mountains will be like wool, fluffed up. Al-Qari'ah ( The Striking Hour ) [5]
فَأَمَّا مَن ثَقُلَتْ مَوَازِينُهُ القارعة [6]
Then as for one whose scales are heavy [with good deeds], Al-Qari'ah ( The Striking Hour ) [6]
فَهُوَ فِي عِيشَةٍ رَّاضِيَةٍ القارعة [7]
He will be in a pleasant life. Al-Qari'ah ( The Striking Hour ) [7]
وَأَمَّا مَنْ خَفَّتْ مَوَازِينُهُ القارعة [8]
But as for one whose scales are light, Al-Qari'ah ( The Striking Hour ) [8]
فَأُمُّهُ هَاوِيَةٌ القارعة [9]
His refuge will be an abyss. Al-Qari'ah ( The Striking Hour ) [9]
وَمَا أَدْرَاكَ مَا هِيَهْ القارعة [10]
And what can make you know what that is? Al-Qari'ah ( The Striking Hour ) [10]
نَارٌ حَامِيَةٌ القارعة [11]
It is a Fire, intensely hot. Al-Qari'ah ( The Striking Hour ) [11]
