Bible Miracles: Sun is Revolving
But Bible almost around three thousand years ago told us in Psalm chapter 19 verse 4 that the Sun is not stationary.
Psalm 19:4-6: Their line is gone out through all the EEarth, and their words to the end of the world. In them hath he set a tabernacle for the Sun, which is as a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, and rejoiceth as a strong man to run a race. His going forth is from the end of the heaven, and his circuit unto the ends of it: and there is nothing hid from the heat thereof. KJV
For many years critics mocked at this verse, claiming that it explained the doctrine of geocentricity i.e the Sun revolves around the Earth. Scientists at that time thought the Sun was stationary. However, it has been discovered in recent years that the Sun is, in fact, moving through space as I mentioned above and it is traveling through the heavens and has a circuit just as the Bible says. Its circuit is so large that it would take approximately 225 million years to complete one orbit.
