A Dua Inspired by Surah At-Taghabun

“O Allah, to You belongs all dominion and to You belongs all praise. You are over all things competent.

Ya Rabb, I seek refuge in You from the ultimate loss of `Yawm at-Taghabun`. Make me a wise investor in my Hereafter.

O Allah, when any calamity strikes me, grant me the `iman` to know it is by Your permission, and in return, guide my heart to patience and contentment.

O my Lord, protect me from the `fitnah` of my wealth and my family. Grant me the strength to be principled and the mercy to pardon, overlook, and forgive. O `Ghafur`, O `Rahim`, forgive me.

O `Shakur`, The Most Appreciative, accept from me my small deeds as a beautiful loan, multiply it for me, and grant me Your forgiveness. Ameen.”
