It is He who expelled the ones who disbelieved among the People of the Scripture from their homes at the first gathering. You did not think they would leave, and they thought that their fortresses would protect them from Allah; but [the decree of] Allah came upon them from where they had not expected, and He cast terror into their hearts [so] they destroyed their houses by their [own] hands and the hands of the believers. So take warning, O people of vision.

CLOSING PRAYER

Ya Allah (O Allah), Glorified is He to Whom belongs all that is in the heavens and the earth. We thank You for revealing the immense majesty of Your Names through Surah Al-Hashr word by word.

O Al-Malik (The Sovereign), O As-Salam (The Source of Peace), O Al-Mu’min (The Giver of Security), we ask You to make us remember You so profoundly that our hearts humble themselves, just as You said the Qur’an would humble a mountain. Forgive us and our brothers who preceded us in faith, and let there be no malice in our hearts toward the believers.

Do not let this knowledge remain only on our tongues; transform it into righteous action in our lives. Accept this humble effort from us, for truly, You are the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing. Ameen.
