More than fourteen hundred years ago the Quran has given such commandments regarding dietary laws that now we at this age of modern science come to know that they are beneficial for human health and all commandments and restrictions have nothing to do with God but for our own benefit. ١٧٣ إِنَّمَا حَرَّمَ عَلَيْكُمُ الْمَيْتَةَ وَالدَّمَ وَلَحْمَ الْخِنْزِيرِ وَمَا أُهِلَّ بِهِ لِغَيْرِ اللَّهِ ۖ فَمَنِ اضْطُرَّ غَيْرَ بَاغٍ وَلَا عَادٍ فَلَا إِثْمَ عَلَيْهِ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ غَفُورٌ رَحِيمٌ

He has only forbidden to you dead animals, blood, the flesh of swine, and that which has been dedicated to other than Allah. But whoever is forced [by necessity], neither desiring [it] nor transgressing [its limit], there is no sin upon him. Indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful. Surah Baqarah 2:173

….. ٣ حُرِّمَتْ عَلَيْكُمُ الْمَيْتَةُ وَالدَّمُ وَلَحْمُ الْخِنْزِيرِ وَمَا أُهِلَّ لِغَيْرِ اللَّهِ بِهِ وَالْمُنْخَنِقَةُ وَالْمَوْقُوذَةُ وَالْمُتَرَدِّيَةُ وَالنَّطِيحَةُ وَمَا أَكَلَ السَّبُعُ إِلَّا مَا ذَكَّيْتُمْ 

Prohibited to you are dead animals, blood, the flesh of swine, and that which has been dedicated to other than Allah, and [those animals] killed by strangling or by a violent blow or by a head-long fall or by the goring of horns, and those from which a wild animal has eaten, except what you [are able to] slaughter [before its death]… Surah Maidah 5:3

Quran Miracle & Wisdom Behind Prohibition

Dead Animal

God made prohibited eating of a dead animal as now we know that dead animals contain high quantities of bacteria. It has been proved scientifically that the body of a dead animal reserves blood with all sediments and toxins. We now know that blood not only carries nutrients to organs but also carries various toxins and waste products that need to be expelled from the body. As the heart of dead animal stop working hence the circulation of blood stops and effects all the tissues and thus the toxins start to build up in all body cells, therefore the dead body changes color to darker. The dead body becomes a deposit for diseases and microbes. The work of decay then starts in the body, affecting the meat in color, taste, and smell. So the meat of dead bodies is not good.

Blood Prohibition

Blood in the living creature has two main functions first, it transfers nutrients sugar, fats, proteins, vitamins, and also oxygen to body organs and muscles. Secondly, it carries harmful body substances from each and every organ for disposal through urine, sweat, or stool. If a man drinks blood, all these microbes and excretions will be carried to man, thus leading to many diseases. Therefore, in the event that a notable volume of blood is consumed, the level of products in the body that should be discharged will increase considerably.That will raise the levels of urea and other harmful substances transported to the kidneys for removal from the body. If it is obtained from a sick animal, several parasites and germs will also be transmitted in it. Many germs carried by blood causes irritation to the membranes of the stomach and intestines. That is why the Quran says about the lawful way of slaughter in which the animal be cleared of blood after slaughtering and thus not allowed by any means to enter the human body.

Pork

Centuries later, we are starting to discover that the eating of pork can cause vital health problems. The relationship between cirrhosis mortality and the product of both alcohol and pork consumption was highly significant. In regions with low alcohol usage, no association was obtained between alcohol consumption and cirrhosis. However, a significant relationship was obtained between cirrhosis and pork. And that is not all. There are remarkably strong correlations between pork consumption and liver disease, liver cancer, and multiple sclerosis. By nature, Pig is not a clean-living animal.It plays and sometimes eats its own feces. Also, Pig produces much higher levels of antibodies in its body than other animals. Also, it produces high levels of growth hormones than humans and most other animals. If you rely on a Pork-based diet, you are exposed to excessive quantities of growth hormone that resulted in excessive body weight and physical deformations. Other than this pig meat may contain “trichina” worm and Tapeworm which can cause fatal diseases to humans.
